Spool Handling In accordance with isometric drawing for spool fabrication, the following activities will be done: The shop supervisor will be assigned and transmits the drawings to subcontractor for spool prefabrication. Prior to prefabrication, pipe and fittings will be blasted and painted up to the finish coat except welding point. Inspections such as radiography and dimensional checks are performed. After completion of welding and inspection, prefabricated spools are transported to their designated locations: stock pile or lay down area.
