Ltd., Dalian Liaoning 116000 ） Abstract: The treatment ability of wastewater treatment engineering in Jincheng Paper-making Plant is 50 000 m3/d. Complete-mixing activated sludge process was used to treat all of the paper-making wastewater and part of domestic wastewater of the plant. The COD of influent was 2 000~3 500 mg/L, and the COD of effluent was 450 mg/L. Every structure was designed carefully and the water quality of the effluent reached the standard for pollutants emission control. The treatment process was so simple and effective that it decreased the expense for building and running, and the disposal cost was only 2.34 Yuan per ton.
