功效应用

抗炎

4-萜烯醇可以抑制TNF、IL-1、IL-8、前列腺素E2的过度表达，减少炎症反应，起到抗炎效果；

抗细菌

4-萜烯醇对莫匹罗星、夫西地酸、万古霉素、甲氧西林和利奈唑胺耐药的菌株具有活性，对大量金黄色葡萄球菌分离株具有良好的抗葡萄球菌活性；

抗真菌

4-萜烯醇对于白色念珠菌等引起生殖系统问题的真菌有良好抑菌效果，并且可以增强氟康唑对白色念珠菌的抗菌能力；

抗肿瘤

4-萜烯醇对Hep-G2(人肝癌细胞）有剂量依赖性杀伤作用，通过诱导Hep-G2细胞凋亡、DNA断裂、细胞迁移抑制和亚G1期阻滞而发挥抗癌作用。

应用领域

4-萜烯醇用于日化调香可广泛用于配置香辛类香精，此外也可应用于临床上药品、科学研究，目前抗菌和改善慢病方面有较好的实验效果。
