欢迎大家投稿“过渡金属氧化物应用到锂电专刊”?Transition metal oxides (TMOs) are promising anode materials for high-performance LIBs owing to their high theoretical capacity (500~1000 mAh g-1) that is based on a novel reaction mechanism 2y Li+?+?2y e-?+?MexOy →?x Me?+?y Li2O. However, they show poor cycling performance because they have low electrical conductivity and cannot maintain their integrity over several discharge/charge cycles. Recent efforts including fabrication of nanosized TMOs, preparation of film architecture, and combining TMOs with matrix phase have been demonstrated to largely improve the electrochemical performance of TMOs.We invite investigators to contribute original research articles as well as review articles that will stimulate the continuing efforts to understand the charge/discharge mechanism of TMOs and the development of strategies to enhance the electrochemical performance of TMOs. We are particularly interested in articles describing the electrochemical performance and charge/discharge mechanism of new kinds of metal oxides such as multielement metal oxides; new insights into the influencing factors of electrochemical performance of TMOs; facile and new preparation method.
