Polypyrrole (PPy) nano?ber webs with a high N content (??~ 16 wt%) was selected as precursor, and KOH served as an activating agent to form porous structure. After carbonization-activation of PPy with KOH, carbon nano?ber webs (CNFWs) doped with nitrogen were obtained.
